Three days,
three stories.

Each day has its own character, its own pace. Here is what each one holds.

The Arrival

A slow beginning. The kind that makes you remember why you came.

This is the day before everything. The cars rolling up the long gravel drive. The first glass of rosé handed to you on the terrace before you've even put your bag down. The welcome dinner is long and unhurried — a table that doesn't want to end. Come as you are. The weekend is just starting.

The Ceremony

The day itself. Everything this weekend was built around.

The vines will be in full summer green. The ceremony takes place in the old walled garden at the golden hour, when the light does what it does in Provence and nowhere else. The reception that follows is the kind that goes until you notice the sky has gone from rose to violet to deep navy and you don't want to look up because then you'd have to acknowledge the night is moving.

The Farewell

Nobody wants to leave. That's how you know it worked.

There's a particular quality to a Sunday morning after a wedding. Slow and golden and a little tender. The farewell brunch is designed to extend the weekend by a few more hours — because once you leave the gates of the château, this particular version of the world ceases to exist. Sit for as long as you can. The coffee is good. The pastries are better. And the people around you are the best of all.

Château des Vignes,
Provence.

A world unto itself. An 18th-century estate where the stone walls have absorbed three centuries of summer light, and the vineyards stretch in every direction as far as you'd want to look.

A genuine
guide.

Not a list of rules. An honest account of what three days in Provence in June actually requires — and what it invites.

Friday

Arrival Evening

Smart Casual

The welcome dinner is outdoors. Think linen, something you can sit in for four hours. Comfortable but considered.

  • Linen shirt or summer dress
  • A light layer for the evening
  • Comfortable shoes — the gravel is loose
  • Something for the cellar bar afterwards
Saturday

Ceremony & Reception

Garden Formal

The ceremony is in an outdoor garden. Heels will sink — block heels or flats are genuinely recommended. The reception moves inside after dark.

  • Garden formal attire — florals welcomed
  • Block heels or elegant flats for the garden
  • Bring a wrap — evenings cool after 9pm
  • No white or ivory, please
Sunday

Farewell Brunch

Relaxed & Beautiful

Come as you feel after a long, wonderful weekend. The brunch is in the orangerie. Wear whatever makes you happy to be here.

  • Anything comfortable and loved
  • Sunglasses — the terrace faces south
  • Sensible shoes for the drive home

Provence in June: 26–32°C days, 16–18°C evenings. Pack a light layer for after dark.

Rooms are provided for all overnight guests. Linen, towels, and toiletries are included.

Shuttle from Marseille airport at 12pm and 3pm Friday. Return shuttles Sunday 1pm and 4pm.

The ceremony and dinner are adults only. The brunch on Sunday welcomes the whole family.
